What To Include In Your Baby Changing Bag
When putting together your baby changing bag it can be tricky to know what the right products to pack are. You want to be prepared for every occasion but you also don't want to have to carry around everything but the kitchen sink with you!
So for today's blog post I am compiling a list of all the things that I feel are essential for your baby changing bag. Of course this is just a guide and can be adapted to suit your needs.
Nappies - It goes without saying that nappies are a number one essential for your changing bag! Some people may use cloth nappies and others may use disposable but it is definitely important to keep nappies in your changing bag.
Nappy Bags - Nappy bags are a super useful thing to keep in your changing bag, not only can they be used for nappies but also can be handy if you have rubbish to throw away and there is no bin nearby!
Wipes - Wipes are great not only for nappy changing but also sticky hands and messy faces.
Rash Cream - You may want to consider keeping a small bit of rash cream in your changing bag because you never know when you may need it and it is a very useful thing to have to hand.
Changing Pad - Now this is something that not everyone will put in their changing bag, however the reason I have added this to my list is because I have always thought that carrying a changing pad can prove to be very useful if caught in a pinch or to place on top of a changing unit when using a mother and baby bathroom.
Dummy/Soother - Again not something that everyone will necessarily use but to those who do, carrying a spare dummy can be vital!
Muslin Cloth - Popping a muslin cloth over your shoulder when burping your baby is essential in protecting your outfit when out and about.
Food/Snacks/Formula - Making sure to always carry spare food/snacks/formula is crucial when packing your baby changing bag as you never know when you will need them, or be caught short and need any one of these things.
Spare Clothes - A change of clothes is one of the most important things to keep in your baby changing bag as any kind of accident can happen so easily and to have clothes in your baby changing bag means that you can continue on with your day and not have to go home for a change of clothes.
Small Toy - Having a small toy in your bag is a great way to keep your little one entertained.
Sun Cream - Keeping your baby protected from the sun is one of the most vital things that there is!
Dribbler - Perfect to keep in your baby changing bag for feeding on the go.
Teething Gel - An essential for sore gums!
Plasters - You never know when you might need a plaster so it's handy to keep a couple of them in your changing bag.
Sanitiser - Even though there is sanitiser just about everywhere these days, it's no harm to keep a bottle in your baby changing bag!
